Despite being both a folk singer and a rocker, I do enjoy dabbling in a little moody electronica from time to time.
Lately I’ve been playing with some midi plugins in Protools, using a Casio midi keyboard to trigger sounds, coming up with jangling layers of synths, pads and choirs.
Enjoy the latest electronic boondoggle; just created on a whim, I present to you the aptly named “The Rattling Sabres of Angels on High.”

I love Oregon, but one of the downsides of moving away from Des Moines is missing out on the great community of musicians that I was a part of. One of the most anticipated albums of the last few years has been painfully slow to completion; every time I saw Jacob Tyler Wolfgang I had to pester him about his unfinished, but already legendary album “To the Moon, Kid.”
It was no myth. Despite the arduous waiting, “To the Moon, Kid” was released yesterday and was well worth the patience. I’ve heard the album, listening over and over… and I certainly recommend it.

It’s just about time! We’re in the finishing stages of mixing out album “Telltale” and it’s time to get it out there! If anyone has any suggestions as to where to do a press release, or if anyone of you, dear friends, would like to review our album and blog about it we’d be happy to get you an early copy.
