I’m teaching myself a bit of piano, and thought it would be fun to share this solo piano version of “Warm, Warm Heart” with you.
Warm, Warm Heart is a song off of the upcoming Finn Miles album “Winteresque” which will be released in late winter 2012 and available on iTunes. Stay tuned for more updates, or join us on Facebook for breaking news.
This might be one of the most challenging shows ever. No stage. No mic. An hour and a half of looking patrons in the eye and playing right in front of them. Intimate. Truly unplugged. Join us at Dudley’s Bookshop in downtown bend on Sunday, December 18th at 2pm for a cozy singer/songwriter show.
We promised, we’re finishing the album…and here’s the evidence – a sneak peak at “There’s a Better Way (Looper)” including an actual track of vocals mixed into the song.
We’re warming up our chops this winter with a handful of unplugged shows in Central Oregon. Check out our upcoming shows. We’ll see you there!
A little looping and chill out session at the Book and Bean in Prineville, Oregon on the day after Thanksgiving, 2011. Enjoy “Face the Facts” by Finn Miles, acoustic version.
We’re moving to Oregon, and this is our last show in Iowa…if not forever, at least for a long time. Join us for the festivities at the Mars Cafe on July 16th as we give our fair city a “musical hug” goodbye.
Every once in a while I get back on my soapbox and extol the excellence of my record label, Pinnacle Records. That’s right, I’m an artist who is glad they have a label. I’m glad I have a team behind my music to help put out albums (like the soon to be released Modern Saints). They help with the press releases, distribution and are supportive of the music…in fact Darren is playing drums in my band!
So, cheers to the good guys, the little guys, the people who matter. Thanks to Darren and Christina at Pinnacle I get to focus on making the best music I can make, and everybody gets a decent slice of the pie.
Oh rainy days! It was warm at Wellspring, sharing the stage with Tyke for a very special lunch show in Clive, IA. At the beginning of my set I had an older couple walk up to me (while I was singing) and nod, saying “You’re good.” Then they sauntered off to browse in the rest of the bookstore. Such encouragement is well received!
