…and here is part two of the saga…I mean…interview…with Dan Bosman on Capitol 106.3.
On Nov. 20th a group of talented singers, songwriters, and thinkers joined forces in Des Moines, IA to hold the first ever FolksGiving Benefit, raising donations for the Central Iowa Homeless Youth Shelters.
Napkin Sketch was on hand, capturing video and sound, providing record of the musical, magical evening.
Last week I had the opportunity to sit down with Dan Bosman, radio DJ for Capital 106.3 and talk about Finn Miles music. We covered a lot of interesting topics including the Telltale Heart EP, upcoming recording plans, musical inspiration and the success recent shows. Stay tuned…I’ll have the full interview posted here in a matter of days!
In preparation for the fantastic billing for FolksGiving I suggest a few little preparation points.
I was nearly run over by a very kind lady today. I was bicycling on a sidewalk and she turned out of a parking lot and nearly beaned me. She chided me for riding on the sidewalk and said I should be on the street.
Something’s going on in Des Moines right now. A talented crop of singer/songwriters are releasing new music, playing incredible shows and raising the bar on the Midwest music scene.
One of these talented young lads is Danny Heggen of the Seedlings.
It’s ever-so-kind when the local press supports the endeavors of resident musicians. Cityview Magazine, Central Iowa’s Alternative Newsweekly, just reviewed our recent EP release “Telltale Heart.”I’d tell you more, but I think you should just read the review…do it now!
