Oh rainy days! It was warm at Wellspring, sharing the stage with Tyke for a very special lunch show in Clive, IA. At the beginning of my set I had an older couple walk up to me (while I was singing) and nod, saying “You’re good.” Then they sauntered off to browse in the rest of the bookstore. Such encouragement is well received!
New songs on the way from Finn Miles! I (Paul) have been tracking guitars and drums at the Hakeman Estate, our latest recording location in scenic central Des Moines, IA.
The new EP will contain five songs, probably our most mature and well balanced tracks to date, all centering around the ‘L’ word, LOVE. Here’s a lyrical sample from one of the new songs – enjoy!

Finn Miles is playing a series of house-shows across Iowa, and since they’re held in private homes I can’t invite you all.
However, I can tell you that:

2. If you really want to get invited to a house show…like the one we’re holding on June 5th in Des Moines, IA I may be able to get you onto the VIP guest list…if you promise to be good.
if not, you’ll just have to be satisfied to sit at home and watch old Finn Miles footage from past shows.
Friday night, February 19th…just go to the Vaudeville Mews at 6pm and stay until it closes.
Why?
Because the early show will include Finn Miles and Bella Soul supporting Tyke for their EP release. There will be antics, surprises, and profound musicianship.
Oh, what a family! My brother, Scott Gratton is a natural talent. He’s been an asset to Finn Miles, as well as many other bands around the Midwest.
